In many organisations, patients and staff are moved from bed to wheelchair and need training. Proper training is crucial to ensure the safety and comfort of both patients and staff during transfers. It helps prevent injuries by teaching the correct techniques for lifting and moving individuals. Additionally, well-trained staff can provide more effective care, enhancing the overall patient experience and reducing the risk of accidents. OFC College people handling training course typically last 3 hours to one day. We offer evidence-based practice courses that comply with Regulation 7 of the Health and Social Care Act, as well as patient centred assessment skills for staff confidence. Our center is in Nottingham, and there are spaces available for individuals, groups, or care organisations We offer a Train The Trainer Pack for care organizations to be able to train their staff, and the cost is only £600 per employee, with free training.
